What is it, advantages and challenges in corporate digital transformation

In the field of information technology, the demand for fast, high-quality, and highly monitorable deliveries constantly pressures companies and professionals to consistently excel in order to keep up with the market. Addressing the growing relevance of the low-code paradigm in contemporary organizations amid the pursuit of efficiency in digital transformation, this article introduces the low-code development methodology and its main platforms. It highlights the advantages offered by the approach, emphasizing the rapid delivery of applications through an intuitive visual interface, enabling professionals with different skill levels to participate in software development. However, the study also explores the challenges of opting for low-code platforms, emphasizing concerns related to security, scalability, and customization. By analyzing academic literature, data, commercial reports, and market leaders in the low-code platform segment, the authors identify common obstacles faced in the process of integrating existing systems and managing increasing complexity.
