Contemporary education faces the challenge of engaging digital native students in predominantly analog school environments. This research reviews the convergence between educational digital games and conversational agents (chatbots) as an innovative strategy to overcome this mismatch and assist in the transition from analog to digital. The objective of this research was to analyze how the integration of these technologies can enhance active learning methodologies in the mathematics teaching process, offering personalization and immediate assistive technology. The methodology was based on a literature review articulating concepts from the areas of digital games (immersion, interactivity) enhanced by the capabilities of conversational agents in the simulation of a learning ecosystem. The results show that the playful and immersive context of digital games equipped with chatbots acts as virtual tutors, mediating learning in a personalized way and with real-time feedback. It can be concluded that the transition from analog to digital, through the integration of digital games and conversational agents, does not aim to replace the teacher, but rather to create a digital learning ecosystem where technology is a facilitating cognitive resource for a more responsive, interactive, and stimulating quality education.
