Resumo

Para analisarmos a relação entre texto e autor através das teorias de Michel Foucault (1977) e Stanley Fish (1980; 1992) é preciso, primeiramente, compreender a importância do autor no texto e sua função. Em segundo lugar, é preciso entender também a forma como o texto pode ser interpretado pelo leitor, e se a imagem e o nome do autor são realmente relevantes, ou se o leitor cria sua própria imagem de como gostaria que o autor fosse.
