Cadeias de suprimentos leagile: modelando o novo paradigma

Resumo

A economia global e a crescente demanda têm pressionado as empresas a encontrar novas maneiras de adquirir vantagens competitivas para poder responder às demandas dos clientes. De um modo geral, a concorrência não pode ser definida como algo entre empresas, mas entre as cadeias de fornecimento ou redes de empresas. O paradigma envolvendo manufatura enxuta e ágil ganhou significado forte nos negócios e vem desempenhando um papel fundamental nas atividades das empresas que compõem as cadeias de abastecimento. A combinação dessas duas definições (lean e ágil = leagile) cria uma nova forma de gestão. O modelo leagile permite que as empresas e redes moldem um perfil adequado para enfrentar com sucesso a volatilidade dos mercados e a luta pela obtenção das vantagens competitivas. O uso dessa nova forma de gestão é particularmente importante nos casos de empresas/cadeias que exploram os mercados em termos de custo, qualidade, tempo de resposta e nível de serviço onde o cliente procura a melhor capacidade de resposta para atendimento às suas demandas. Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar e propor o processo de construção do perfil de uma cadeia de suprimentos leagile.
